Last Spring my job asked me to help out from the internal end Delivering a class where I was also attending as a student. My 5 days of training out of town turned into 7 days of driving in and around DC a day in advance to meet instructors, Paperwork at 6 am Monday before class swapping name tags, confirming hotel cancellations, re printing certificates mispelled, and coordinating a group picture that I almost missed because I was fixing an SD Card all in the name of covering for a coworker in all areas who's father fell ill..
Initially I thought😬 Ugh I'm always the skape goat, do they appreciate what I'm even doing etc😕. I had one of two decisions say forget it , or humbly get it done to the best if my ability, with the best of my abilities.. I hate half a** work.. Especially if My name is on it... All and all in the end things essentially went well because I followed through , found out the processes, and completed them all appropriately & we were successful.. And I was deep down happy Incould help.
Fast forward to last month my job recently announced "Each of you in this team will have to run a class from beginning to end this Fiscal year.. " Imagine my surprise as half if the things I would have been complaining about not getting training on and having to "Figure out" God gave me a crash course in advance.. I know people say Your Test is the beginning of your Testimony... But UNTIL YOU simply and humbly go through your struggles in life ( remembering we ALL HAVE struggles) with the same heart you face your Loves and passions with you won't realize that you need to NOT be mad at the PROBLEM! You must DECIDE to learn from its PURPOSE, or you'll never REALIZE the struggle is the beginning of your PROGRESS ..
Now I have the power.. If I had gone through the class refusing to help, ignoring processes, and bickering , or accepting the task begrudgingly.. I wouldn't have learned anything, and I'd be in Struggle #2 vs Success #2
Thx for listening.
Create a quality day..
If you see typos.. Yes I'm human..
That is all
